INSPIRATION: Leaning In

by | Aug 26, 2013 | Insights & Inspiration

My kid is off to college and he’s chosen a challenging path. Not my path. Not the path I would have chosen for him. Nope.

But what did he say when meeting his first intimidating experience?

“This is how I like it.”

I love that kid. I love that he’s leaning into what lies ahead. I love that he keeps choosing to challenge himself. I love that he’s become more determined as he has encountered failure. I love that as he is taking off, he’s running harder because he wants to fly higher.

What are you leaning into this week? What challenge are you excited about?

Challenge yourself, it’s fine not to be a totally finished person. -Leigh Steinberg
