Plan 2015 by Letting Go of 2014

by | Dec 11, 2014 | Coaching Advice, Personal Mastery, Work-Life Blend

It’s the end of the year! If you’re like us you’re tempted to run around in circles just trying to get it all done. Dana gives us a reminder—and tools—to bring a more intentional close to 2014. —InPower Editors

Think it’s too early to plan 2015? Nope! Now’s the best time. Plan ahead. But don’t jump straight to your new goals. Take some time to review how 2014 went for you. Why should we spend time reviewing the past?

  • LEARN from it (What worked? What didn’t? Why?)
  • LET IT GO

There’s actually a bit more to it than that, but that’s the essence. When you take old baggage into the future, your future is bogged down before you start. What will you take into 2015 on purpose? What will you let go of?

Let InPower Coaching help. I’ve put 6 exercises into a workbook to help you wrap up your 2015 in the following four key areas of life and work:

  1. Your Self: Things I do for me, to grow myself, feel good, enjoy lie . . .
  2. Your Circle:  Things that improve my close relationships . . .
  3. Your Career: Things that help me achieve my professional potential & enjoyment . . .
  4. Your Impact: Things that I influence or do that help make the world better . . .
